Privacy
This policy applies to Can I Call? at canIcall.app.
Short version: using Can I Call? sends nothing about you anywhere. Last updated October 2026.
What the tool uses
- Your device’s clock and time-zone data to work out the time in each country. This happens on your device.
- Your favourites, recent countries, calling hours and Family/Work setting, saved only in your browser on this device. We cannot see them. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
Reminders
“Add to my calendar” creates a calendar file on your device; your own calendar app does the reminding. If you choose “Google Calendar”, the reminder’s title and time are passed to Google so you can save it in your Google account.
“Best time to call me” links
A shared link contains only your time zone, the hours you picked and the first name you typed (if any). This information sits in the part of the link after the “#”, which browsers do not send to our server. We never store it.
What we never collect
- No account, no contacts, no phone numbers.
- Numbers you type in the search box stay on your device and are never sent or saved.
- No advertising, no tracking cookies, no selling of data.
If you join the early-access list
We store, in our own database, the email address, the answers you choose (who you call, which country, which features you’d pay for) and whether you’re on Android or iPhone. We use them only to tell you about the app launch and to decide what to build first. We never share or sell them. To be removed, reply to any of our emails or contact us at the address below.
Hosting
The site and the early-access list are hosted on Replit. Like any web host, it processes basic technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. We do not store IP addresses with your sign-up.
